TAURUS (apr 21 – may 20)
You might not be able to put your finger on it but you’re being asked to let something go this month ‘gorgeous bovines’. Like the house of sticks in the three little pigs, anything in life not able to withstand a gust of wind from the big bad wolf will be blown down. So surrender and release any outmoded habits, people and structures. In return you’ll be left with a clean slate to rebuild stronger foundations that can withstand prevailing winds in the future.
GEMINI (may 22 – jun 21)
Let’s face it ‘chatty twins’ the last couple of weeks of April seemed like the world had slowed down. Sorry to report the first couple of weeks of May aren’t likely to get any better. It’s highly recommended that you double and triple check all bookings, arrangements and plans at least til mid month if you wish to avoid disruptions. If you’re up for it, this is a great time to be pragmatic. Use your mind and mouth to deal with down-to-earth activities for best results this month. Continue reading →

At every moment we make choices about what we want to experience. When our daily life throws up challenges and offers opportunities for growth we always have a choice. As the dark matrix of negative vibration tries to catapult us into the negativity of fear, anger or sadness, we select our response. Our greatest challenge is to become aware and awake as to what is happening in our thoughts.
We create our life experiences through thought. There is nothing in our universe other than our thoughts. Everything we see and imagine, all we hear, feel, touch and taste are perceptions of our mind. When I am not thinking of the delights of beautiful music, I do not hear it. When I am focused on jogging, I am not experiencing the subtle delight of a good red wine. All experience happens first in the mind.

Yoga is the science of breathing techniques and relaxation techniques, and so much more. In it’s beginning stages, yogis will learn simple poses to improve flexibility and balance. Proper usage and form is vital to your health, as such it is necessary for the unschooled to get quality training.
While you could learn from a video, it’s not really advisable. You are better off locating a trained yoga instructor who can teach you perfect form and balance as well as to determine what positions should or shouldn’t be used. When you begin each yoga session, you should let them know about any historical physical problems or new ones you may have just gained.

Tips by Karen Low
“This is the first day of the rest of your life.” – Anonymous
Like most professional personal and business coaches, Karen Low, owner and director of Coach Me Now! believes that the key roles of a coach are to help clients successfully transform their lives with integrity and to make a a positive difference by empowering people to achieve their full potential.
“We believe in a holistic, balanced approach to areas of life”, says Karen. “It is important that the whole process is about the client and not the coach.
“Generally, coaches use focused questions to clarify where a client is, where they want to be, identify the gap in between and develop actions to achieve the outcome desired.”
As a successful business woman, Karen has also attended many networking meetings and has decided to share her networking tips with The Gals!
Networking Checklist
* Identify Networking opportunities, make a list and decide which events you will attend. Think about how much time you plan to invest each month, quarter, year. There may be a Fee to attend some events, so remember to consider this in your Budget. Go at least twice and get a better feel for the group before deciding to join, as you may be nervous the first time, all members may not be at every event, relationships take time.
* Decide what your goal / outcome is for the Networking event, ie. meet 3-5 new business contacts / potential new Clients. Continue reading →
